We're proud to announce our third Motor Maker Giveaway - this beautiful Black Cherry 1979 Harley Davidson FLH Shovelhead.

Our next machine is a special one-- this 1979 Harley Davidson was originally purchased from New Oxford Harley Davidson in Pennsylvania. All of the sheet metal on the bike is original but was repainted by the first owner in the 1978 metallic "Black Cherry" scheme shortly after he purchased it. Original, reconditioned mag-style 16 inch wheels are wrapped in brand new Shinko white wall tires. Completely reconditioned down to the frame, every single fastener and component was carefully de-greased, cleaned, and buffed to preserve original finishes. All aluminum, and chrome is original to the bike with the exception of the mufflers, coil and starter relay covers. Front and rear brakes have been rebuilt, all fluids have been flushed and changed and the original speedometer was rebuilt by Texas Speedometer Service. The bike also benefits from new chains and sprockets, hoses, a new charging system, new battery, new windshield and a new solo seat by Heather's Leathers. The low mileage 74 cubic inch engine received a thorough inspection and service, and benefits from a brand new CV Carburetor for upgraded performance and fuel economy.
